The Reckoning

We've returned to the Unknown Space, but for this time, it isn't for Trials of the Nine. The Reckoning is a brand new activity that works in conjunction with Gambit Prime as a way to earn killer new armor that grants exclusive perks that activate only while playing Prime. Check out the info below to read about how it works!

This activity is the endgame activity for Joker's Wild, so please note that there are specific light requirements for each Tier:

- Tier I: able to access and recommended at 650
- Tier II: able to access at 660, recommended light is 670
- Tier III: able to access at 680, recommended light is 690


How it Works:

First and foremost, you must play Gambit Prime to earn the following:

Once you have earned the above synths by playing Gambit Prime and completing bounties that reward the specific synths, you must place them in a Synthesizer:

Weak Synthesizer

Requires 1 synth to create 1 Weak Mote and will result in an Illicit piece of armor - can be wagered in Tier I


Middling Synthesizer

Requires 2 synths to create 1 Middling Mote - can result in an Outlawed piece of armor and is able to be wagered in Tier II

Powerful Synthesizer

Requires 3 synths to create 1 Powerful Mote - can result in a Notorious piece of gear and is only able to be offered in Tier III

 

How to Order this Service & Multiple Runs:

  1. In order for us to complete the Reckoning and obtain armor for you, you MUST already have the Synthesizer AND the required number of synths in your inventory. We will convert the synths into motes for you, but keep in mind:

    - If you have a Weak Synthesizer, you need 1 synth to create 1 Weak Mote
    - If you have a Middling Synthesizer, you need TWO (2) synths to create 1 Middling Mote

  2. If you are interested in purchasing multiple runs to obtain multiple pieces of armor, you can either:

    a) purchase multiple runs and fill out the options each time; this way, you can customize your order. For example, you can order 2 completions wagering Reaper synths/motes, 3 wagering Invader, and 3 wagering Sentry provided that you have the required synths in your inventory for us to complete those many runs
    b) on the cart page, there is a quantity indicator; you can increase and decrease this number but keep in mind that the options you select for those runs will be identical.
    For example, if you add a Weak Mote for an Invader synth and increase the quantity on the cart page, we will wager ONLY Weak Invader Motes.

There are three levels of armor that can drop from The Reckoning: Illicit, Outlawed, and Notorious. Depending on the strength of the mote that you wager to the Nine and what Tier difficulty you select as noted above, different levels of armor will drop. Illicit armor pieces grant +1 Perk, Outlawed armor pieces grant +2 Perk, and Notorious armor pieces grant +3 Perk. You can read more about each specific role/set below in addition to what perks are available for each role.


Armor

 Collector | Gather all motes and send blockers

INHERITANCE: +3 PERK
You drop a percentage of your Motes on the ground when you die.

UMBRAL ARMOR: +6 PERK
Picking up five Motes in quick succession gives you an overshield.

CASHBACK: +10 PERK
Generate Kinetic and Energy ammo when you bank Motes.

HIGH-YIELD SAVINGS: +15 PERK
You can carry up to 20 Motes instead of 15. Depositing 20 Motes at once sends a Giant Blocker to the enemy arena.

 Invader | Hunt your opponents and steal their motes

ASSASSIN’S MUNITIONS: +3 PERK
Regenerate Kinetic and Energy ammo while invading.

LETHAL DEFENSE: +6 PERK
Invasion shield is more powerful.

KILLMONGER: +10 PERK
After killing an enemy Guardian, gain a damage boost once you return home. Stacks based on how many Guardians you take out during an invasion.

BANK ROBBER: +15 PERK
You’ll lock down the enemy bank when you invade. Standing near the bank will drain Motes for your own team.

 Reaper | Clear waves and slay larger enemies

HIGH-VALUE TRACKER: +3 PERK
Damaging a non-Primeval yellow-bar enemy — like the High-value Target — marks and weakens them for you and your allies.

PINATA OF DEATH: +6 PERK
Killing multiple enemies quickly drops special ammo for allies.

LONG-LASTING FLAVOR: +10 PERK
Motes that drop from enemies you kill last longer before expiring.

MAJOR REWARDS: +15 PERK
Killing powerful enemies quickly recharges your grenade.

 Sentry | Counter invaders and protect your team's bank

UMBRAL STRIKE: +3 PERK
Killing multiple enemies quickly buffs your damage against Taken enemies. Stacks up to five times, but you’ll lose it after damaging a Taken enemy.

SAFE AND SOUND: +6 PERK
Standing near the bank heals you.

INVADER TRACKER: +10 PERK
Damaging the Invader marks them for allies.

LIGHT OF THE DEFENDER: +15 PERK
Standing in the Well of Light during the Primeval phase boosts stats for you and your allies. 


Requirements:

  • You must own the Annual Pass

  • You must be at least a 650 light level for Tier I; please refer to the requirements as listed at the top of this service's description
  • If you want us to obtain armor for you, you must have the required synths and synthesizer on your character and in your inventory

  • You absolutely must stay offline if during an account recovery; if you log into your account while we are in a game, it will cause us to lose the win streak bonus and can result in the game suspending you from the Gambit playlist for leaving a game early
